No. It's powered entirely by your mains water pressure, so there's nothing to plug in, no wiring and no batteries to replace. It adds nothing to your energy bill, and there are no electronics to fail over time. You simply keep the salt topped up.
What type of salt does it use, and is any included?
The Homewater runs on tablet salt, and we include a free 25kg bag with your order to get you started. Tablet salt is widely available and easy to top up. You'll add more periodically depending on your water hardness and usage.
Do I get soft water while it's regenerating?
