How to fit your System 40 water filter

Follow the six simple stages below to connect your System 40 under-sink water filter.

Screwing the bracket onto the mains pipe 1

Secure the bracket to the mains pipe

Position the bracket around the copper mains pipe and tighten it securely before fitting the valve.

Screwing the self-piercing valve onto the bracket 2

Fit the self-piercing valve

Screw the self-piercing valve into the bracket until it is seated firmly and ready to connect.

Pushing the push-fit tube into the tap connection 3

Connect the tube to the tap fitting

Push the blue tube fully into the push-fit tap connection to create a secure seal.

Pushing the tube into the bottom of the water filter 4

Connect the inlet tube to the filter

Run the tube from the mains connection into the bottom inlet of the System 40 filter.

Fitting the tube to the top of the water filter 5

Connect the outlet at the top

Fit the second tube into the top outlet of the filter, ready to feed the drinking water tap.

Pushing the hose into the tap 6

Push the hose into the tap

Push the outlet hose fully into the tap connection so filtered water can flow to your tap.

Always turn off the mains water supply before fitting. If you are unsure at any stage, we recommend using a qualified plumber.
