How does a non-electric softener work without power?
The Sumo HT runs on the pressure of the water flowing through it, using kinetic energy rather than electricity. There's nothing to plug in, no socket needed nearby, and nothing drawing power in the background. Fewer electrical parts also means fewer things that can fail.
Will it fit under my kitchen sink?
At 495mm high, 230mm wide and 470mm deep it's one of the more compact softeners available and fits most standard sink cupboards. Measure your cupboard first, and if space is tight send us the dimensions and we'll confirm before you order.
What salt does it use, and how much?
It uses block salt, which is clean and easy to handle, and it's very economical: just 270g per regeneration. You can add block salt to your order. Most households top up every few weeks depending on water use.
Is it powerful enough for my home?

Does it work with my water pressure?
